Nice place to stay with a beautiful garden. Rooms are a bit dated and wear and tear is visable at some place. Such as the taps of the shower and sink. Very friendly staff and nice restaurant for lunch or dinner. Breakfast room in the morning is very (too) warm. Beautiful Beach but be careful with the sandflies present.

Great beach resort in beautiful surroundings with a lot if friendly Thai people. Only minor thing was the lack of hot water to shower. But it luke warm, so no biggy.

Had a great stay. Beautiful resort on a beautiful beach. The coffee and tea at breakfast are unfortunately bad, no idea why, maybe the water. Breakfast is fine. Staff very friendly. They also immediately arranged a scooter for us, top service. Christmas dinner on the beach was AMAZING, very very good. Would definitely stay here again. Highly recommended.

Great home base on Koh Chang

The friendly and very helpful staff at the Dewa made our stay perfect! We rented scooters and explored all over the area, many cool restaurants and funny bars and dispensaries around nearby. And waterfalls to check out too. With the scooters you can get much more of a picture of local life also, you can take side roads. Really fun. We also went diving with BB divers organized through the hotel, a great day with 3 dives! We definitely didn’t want to leave, and we hope we can come back soon! Thank you!!

This hotel located in nice area, in 15 minutes of walking you can reach good restaurants and bars. The rooms are spacious, nice interior. The TV is old and small, but who cares;) swimming pool insane. I don’t like variety on breakfast curse, but eggs station and fruits not bad. I was a little bit disappointed that hotel provide used havaianas instead new sleepers.

Amazing stay.

We just spent 6 fantastic days at Dewa in room 131. It was our second time as we were there for 12 days last year with my children and grandchild. This property even improved from last year. I think the staff are excellent. Thai hospitality at its finest. No problem was too big for them, they just wanted to please you, right down to the cleaners. The chef accommodated me every morning with a stir fry tofu and vegetable bc I’m a vegan . We will be back at the Dewa . Thankyou from Debbi and Paul (Vancouver Canada)

Nice and very friendly staff, beautiful garden, good breakfast. Some “wear and tear” and hotel should work on replacement program (for example lounge cushions). Unfortunately there were sandflies on the beach which was very annoying. Overall good stay.

This place is dirty. The bed sheets were dirty with stains and I asked for them to be changed. They changed them with even dirtier sheets. The lounge chairs look like they have not been cleaned for years.

Great location at the beach

Nice design hotel at the beach. The beach is the best thing with this hotel. Shallow water, clear blue, nice beach terrass with sunbeds always avaliable, both in sun and shadow. Great massage with drop in, an oil massage for 60 min costs 300 bath, which is sooo worth it. At night, there are many restaurants with tables at the beach. The dewa is a design hotel where function in the room comes second hand. (No Reading light close to bed, no headboards). We were offered a room at the first floor, just beside to pool area at first. The bed was in the middle of the room, just opposite the door and a small patio. I wanted more privacy and we got to change into a room at second floor instead. This room suited us much better with a balcony and the bed standing towards the "window into the bathroom". The daily house keeping were very uneven, and some days the took our robes, another day the beach towels were missing. The beds are really hard and after a few days this gets to you and you rather sleep on the beach than in the bed. Every day at 5pm the you get cookies to your room. The pool is nice but there is almost no sun at the sunbeds, making the pool area very quiet. A taxi from the hotel to white sand is 50bath per person.

Als wir angekommen sind, dachten wir uns direkt: Okay, hier lässt es sich aushalten. 😄 Wir wurden super herzlich empfangen und dieser erste Eindruck hat sich auch durch den ganzen Aufenthalt gezogen – der Service war wirklich durchgehend aufmerksam und freundlich. Die Lage? Einfach ein Traum. Direkt am Strand, mit einer richtig schönen Aussicht und vor allem angenehm ruhig – genau das, was man sich im Urlaub wünscht. Die Massagen am Strand waren übrigens auch top und haben das Ganze perfekt abgerundet. Kulinarisch gab’s ebenfalls nichts zu meckern: Egal ob Frühstück oder das Abendessen direkt am Strand mit frisch Gegrilltem – alles war lecker und stimmig. Ein kleiner Minuspunkt ist die Klimaanlage, die leider etwas lauter ist – für empfindliche Schläfer könnte das störend sein. Unterm Strich hatten wir aber einen richtig tollen Aufenthalt und würden definitiv wiederkommen. 🏨✨

Prima resort voor een paar dagen rust

Hotel ligt in een rustig deel van het eiland. Eigen vervoer is aan te raden als je wat wilt zien. Strand stond als zandstrand geadverteerd, maar er stond een groot waarschuwingsbord ivm scherpe stenen! Waterschoenen zijn hier aan te raden! Vriendelijk personeel. Redelijk ontbijt. Geen lift en veel trappen dus niets voor mensen die slechter ter been zijn. Airco op de kamer maakte veel lawaai. Gebied rondom zwembad kan een opknapbeurt gebruiken. Veel kapot houtwerk en tegels. Zwembad met 1.40 mtr wel lekker diep tov meeste zwembaden in Thailand. Voor avondactiviteiten is er bij Kai Bae beach of White Sand beach meer te doen. Ben je niet op zoek naar meer vertier dan zit je hier prima.

Personal nicht besonders aufmerksam, sind ständig am Handy.nicht ganz leicht was zu trinken oder zu essen zu bekommen ohne Aufforderung. Villa kleiner als beschrieben, und dunkel. Handtücher für den Strand sind muffig. Strandliegen super und schattig und ausreichend vorhanden. Viele essensmöglichkeiten in der Umgebung, Frühstück mit großer Auswahl.
