"Amazing views from Matthews Lodge!!!! This is my third stay (first time after hurricane Ian) and every time the staff, from the office staff to the maintenance team to the housekeeping team are ALL amazing! Always right there to tend to every need with a smile! I don’t think there is ever a day they would ever not make this place feel like home away from home!! The Island Inn is a must and the island would not feel the same without them! They are working hard to re build the future and sustain the incredible history this Inn has to offer its guests. "The cottage was clean and updated with everything you need, toiletries, kitchen pans and utensils, a full beach cart with everything needed for the beach. I took a few naps in the sun in the hammock. The location is great, an easy block to the beach. The only thing we had difficulty with was the gas grill did not heat up sufficiently to cook burgers. It was an incredible relaxing place for a family vacation, highly recommend it"
