"Since my phone wasn’t compatible with WeChat or Alipay, I faced some challenges during my stay in China. Thankfully, the staff were incredibly helpful. Ella went out of her way to assist me—she walked with me to the food pickup spot, used her own phone, and helped retrieve a delivery ordered by my daughter, who was staying at Tsinghua University.
On another occasion, when my daughter’s WeChat account ran out of funds, Harry Sun helped us withdraw cash from the hotel ATM and reload the account. He also arranged our trip to the Great Wall of China, booking a car and giving us great tips—like leaving early to avoid traffic and returning by early afternoon.
The restaurant staff were also very friendly and welcoming."

"Check-in went very well. Staff was super helpful. I asked many small questions about things like currency exchange, food, delivery, etc.. and they were very very helpful. Breakfast had a good mix of food.
I had forgotten about seeing showers as a closed-in space within a single room, but this was the only oddity that I found.
My driver would not go down the narrow road to the hotel, but it was a short and easy walk down the narrow Road to number 46.
Food options in the courtyard outside were also excellent. Had a beer and aFood options in the courtyard outside we’re also excellent. Had a beer and a burger and was very happy."

"The hotel is good, clean and comfortable. Breakfast ample. WiFi not that good, slow and restricted. Knowledge of English of the staff should improve. Though they use an on-line translator, it would be easier to make understand directely."

"Excellent hotel with great staff and service. The food is outstanding. A truly luxury hotel in all aspects. The location is very good and close to many attractions, and a few minutes walk to Wangfujing pedestrian street with lots of local shops and major international brand stores. A vibrant place for an evening walk or shopping. Recommend booking stay with inclusion of the Grand Hyatt Lounge which is also very family friendly. "

"Great experience for Beijing ! A quaint boutique hotel located in one of the Beijing Hutongs, it offered us a unique local flavored experience. The facilities are traditional Chinese, with wooden floors and rustic themed rooms. However, rooms are fully equipped with everything you need. They also have cute little balconies from where you can drink tea while transporting yourself back in time. The staff was the best part. Very nice, always available and catering to our every need. Afternoon tea time was quite endearing. Breakfast was really good, Chinese/western buffet. Overall a very cozy little hotel that will make you feel welcome and comfortable. An experience we will never forget. "
