"How can you go wrong with flamingoes and Elvis as greeters? The staff was very friendly and helpful. It was a fun place to stay."

"We went toward the end of the season and they were quite short-staffed. Excellent stay overall but small details were lacking such as adequate soap and shampoo in the room. Restaurant staff at Metate restaurant was great. The food was also great. Again unfortunately, they were short-staffed because of poor planning by the management. The ground staff was quite good and handled the stress fairly well."

"The hotel was very good for the price. The bed was comfortable. The room was spacious and clean. The staff was responsive to inquiries. But the breakfast yogurt machine was out of yogurt, and the hot tub was closed."

Quality Inn near Mesa Verde

Quality Inn near Mesa Verde

10/10 Excellent
"First off this is an older hotel but it's nonetheless quite nice and comfortable. It's in a good part of town, not far from a large grocery store (important if your making any hikes, treks in the nearby parks and trails as you can then make your own sandwiches and buy ample beverages for your journeys). The room was clean and HUGE with ample parking. The bed was comfortable and the bedding, especially the pillows were excellent. The town is great, a bit quaint but inviting. I saw there were two "old school" movie theaters in operation on the main drag which if I were staying longer I would have gone to... . Local people are approachable and friendly. Again, this is an older hotel but well kept and close to everything you could want at an affordable price."
