"The main downside was the lack of sound privacy. The room had a connecting door to the neighboring room, which was occupied by other guests. There was a gap around the door, so we could hear each other’s conversations clearly and had to speak in low voices throughout our stay. The bathroom door was also warped and difficult to close properly. On the positive side, the balcony offered a beautiful view, the room was clean and well maintained, and the shower had excellent water temperature and water pressure."

"The property was obviously older and in need of some upgrade work However, the mgt and/or staff "seemed" to be trying hard to improve things. Also he drove down from an offsite location to do a late check-in for us. All the amenities were functional, the main thing I observed was subpar cleanliness of some items (towels, bedding, etc.). I'm guessing either they are having trouble obtaining sufficient staff, or perhaps the manager is trying to do the work alone. So couldn't call it my "first choice" for staying in Cortez, but it was there when we needed it (and didn't have to fight with elevators or long flights of stairs, which is very difficult for my spouse to deal with)."

"Right in downtown Mancos. Small room with shower. Mattress lumpy, not comfortable. The upstairs area is quite charming with a sitting area and a large full kitchen where we made our lunches. Very clean. Be careful when you pay- you are offered the opportunity to add a tip and without thinking I tapped 20% on a bill of about $400. I wish I had said “no tip” and just left cash on the nightstand. When I asked the owner about it she said all the tip goes to the cleaning staff and offered a refund. I let it go. Lucky day for some housecleaner."

"My stay was very nice. The cabin was clean and the bed was decent. There was plenty of room for bags and my dog's bed. The bathroom was nearby and easy to access and I really liked that there was room to walk my dog it was fairly quiet for being so close to a main road. I didn't meet any staff as they had prepared an envelope with instructions. That was okay."
