“Amazing property, location was quiet and very scenic views Well stocked kitchen and very nice rooms Highly recommended”

“Mark was very kind to help us with minor issues we had getting into the property. It is VERY well appointed and the breakfast was fantastic! What was particularly nice was the spacious 'dining room' with an amazing rooftop patio. It was raining when we were there so didn't really get to go out on the patio, but we decided to stay in and enjoyed the dining room/ lounge. I would stay here again and recommend. “Property met my requirements in every way and exceeded my expectations”

“The hotel looks tired and needs some upgrades. The shower was so very small, tighter than a phone booth and the shower walls are pealing. There is no elevator, so my husband had to carry the two full size suitcases up to the second floor. Cahir is a small town, with no many hotel options, so I guess it is not bad if you are staying there for a night, and the pub/restaurant offered a pretty decent fish and chips.”

“This place is truly something special - the staff were attentive and soooo helpful! The house and the grounds are an absolute delight and the drinks were a nice touch in the evening. topped off with beautiful breakfast!! Would HIGHLY. Recommend - I want to go back already”

“As a solo traveller this accommodation was wonderful. Kate is incredibly kind, hardworking, and accommodating. She allowed me to check in much earlier and the room was absolutely spotless. I felt very safe during my stay. The breakfast was delicious and there were a lot of different options. I regret not staying a few extra nights! Overall I loved my stay at Ach na Sheen and highly recommend it to other travellers, especially solo travellers”

“The staff - very warm welcome from all The elevator was good, the room was comfortable, the bed was a king and comfortable. Breakfast was very good as was dinner. It is a spacious building with a lot of light and lots of parking. We had some issues in our bathroom, hence the lower rating re maintenance.”

“The place was clean and cozy and had everything we needed. The host checked in with us which was appreciated. We would definitely love to stay again it is a great base to access all that Lismore and surrounding areas have to offer.”
