โThe views are sensational, but only 1 plug socket on one side of bed, no bedside tables or lights, the set of stairs to get to the 1st floor rooms were like climbing mount Everest. However the staff were more then helpful. The rooms were cleaned ok, the railings on the balcony were filthy. My girlfriend had to clean. Only 1 chair on balcony. But nice and quiet away from the noise of traffic in townโ
โThis hotel is very cozy, welcoming and super clean! The staff was very helpful as well. I would highly recommend staying at the Sleeping Well hotel when in Chiang Khong.โ
โIt's a newly built hotel, very clean and spacious. The only negative was bad WiFi in my (newer) building. Perhaps the other building has better WiFi. If you are coming by bus or van from Chiang Mai, ask to drop at the traffic light immediately after the National Museum (which is 3 minutes walk from the hotel).โ
โThe remoteness and gorgeous scenery made this a special stay. The 165 steep steps up the hill were totally worth it!! This is the rainy season and youโre really in nature so it shouldnโt be a surprise but there were lots of dead and living ants so if youโre squeamish about ants, just be warned. We loved our stay, though!โ
