"Wir haben drei Nächte in diesem kleinen Zimmerchen in Olbia verbracht und uns sofort wohlgefühlt. Die Unterkunft ist sehr gemütlich eingerichtet und bietet alles, was man braucht. "The hotel is in an amazing location for visiting the old town and marina of Alghero. The Blau bar and breakfast were a highlight. We’ve stayed here before and had a great time. This trip was less successful as 1) the mattress in the room we had was extremely firm and so made for an uncomfortable night. However, this is subjective and many might appreciate a firm bed. More importantly, 2) the air conditioning / fan in the room was broken and causing water to drip through the ceiling. We reported this to reception and they didn’t seem to do anything about it or offer anything to us like a room change or anything. The only thing they said was that they’d call a technician and if we needed more towels to put down on the floor. Honestly I think this is unacceptable. We had water dripping out the ceiling all night and it was a really irritating noise and also pretty bad to be stepping round it and laying down all the towels on the floor under it. At least for the price paid I think it’s not good and I would have expected something refunded or offered to us. We spoke to reception twice about it and nothing so we just checked out as normal and left and didn’t request anything (maybe I’m too British) but it left a bad taste and impression with us. We totally understand things happen out of the control of the staff and the hotel might be fully booked and unable to move us but some sort of apology would have been appreciated, especially given it’s not a cheap hotel."
