“Room was large and clean. Clean linens and soft towels. A fan was already provided since it was very warm in Oxford during our visit. Check in was easy and check out was even easier. Great location for walking to Cowley Rd for meals.”

“Altes Haus mitten im Stadtzentrum mit 3 wunderschön renovierten Zimmern, die nur über enge, steile Treppen zu erreichen sind. Badezimmer ist im Detail etwas schludrig gemacht, aber insgesamt sehr schön. Parking findet sich im nahegelegenen Westgate-Einkaufszentrum, keine 5 Minuten entfernt. Wermutstropfen: WiFi ist unbenutzbar - 50 KB/s reicht nicht mal zum einfachen Surfen. Wer vom Hotelzimmer aus arbeiten muss, hat schlechte Karten, denn das GSM-Netz vor Ort ist auch nicht besser.”

“La camera, noi ne avevamo una al piano terra lato ingresso principale, si trova in un bel edificio a due piani in una via tranquilla a 15 minuti a piedi dal centro storico e dalle università, appena fuori dalla ressa dei turisti. La camera è spaziosa e pulita e la colazione si fa in cucina ed è ricca e varia. Ha inoltre un parcheggio per quattro auto, due davanti e due dietro. Il personale che ti accoglie all’arrivo è gentile e disponibile. ”

“메일로 주차장 찾는 길안내가 있어서 좋았습니다. 엘리베이터가 없어서 계단으로 올라가야합니다. 룸은 크고 깨끗하고 예쁘게 꾸며져있습니다. 이용은 안했지만 부엌에 기본도구들이 다있습니다. 건너편 델리에서 먹은 토스트와 라테는 지금도 생각나네요.. ”

“It's noisy as the room is facing the busy road, and the windows are old wooden single layers penetrating all the sounds from the street. The shower is so small that it's not easy to turn around. And even there's no soap and shampoo.”

“the staff, food and cleanliness are what makes this property worth the stay. The food was excellent quality, the rooms were super clean, its easy to get into oxford from there and the above all else the staff went above and beyond. Wonderful stay and would go again if visiting oxford thank you ”

“Julie and Ayman are great hosts. You do feel like you're a guest in their home. We had several fun conversations with them, and a couple of times found myself feeling like I was talking to an extended family member (Ayman and his strong feelings about diesel and electric cars comes to mind, as well as Julie and her careful breakfast service). Overall it was the personal experience we were hoping for as visiting Americans. Only other thoughts are: there is no tennis court on site. That might be...
