Construction of the Cathedral of St. John Vladimir began almost twenty years ago. It is 41 metres high and has an area of 1200 square metres. Inside are 4,860 square metres of frescos. An orthodox Cathedral, it was erected in the honour of St John Vladimir, the first Serbian saint and the protector of Bar.
