We loved our stay here. The rooms were clean and updated. All the amenities you need are provided. The pool and the views by it are amazing and the area is quiet. The small town nearby has great food options. Would definitely stay again.

1) The descriptions are not clear about this property. The rooms are a 5-minute drive away from the main building 2) If you need a housekeeping service, you need to pay 60 euros for each day! And you need to throw your trash into the bin outside the property. They won't help you! 3) If you need to use the small gym( a few equipment), you need to pay 25 euros per person for each day! 4) The hotel staff were generally so rude! They are ready to argue with you 5) LEAKING ROOF! If you are going on a rainy day, be careful, you can wake up with water drops The good part 1) The breakfast was good 2) The hotel was clean 3) The view was good, but you can have the same view from the different hotels.

Beautiful property at a scenic and peaceful location. We stayed in a 2 bedroom apartment which had 2 bathrooms, a real bonus! We appreciated the pool and the deckchairs scattered around the grounds of the property. There were many restaurant choices within 10 min drive from the property. Things we did not like: 1. We asked reception for towels for the pool and were told to use those in our room. We saw the same receptionist delivering pool towels to another party moments later. 2. We were charged 0.50 EUR per coffee capsule upon checkout. The reception claimed there's a note to inform the guests of this charge. We later found this note placed under the coffee machine. Also, it seems petty to charge for coffee capsules when a free bottle of wine was provided.

Absolutely stunning Grounds!

We enjoyed our 5 day stay. Had a lovely apartment with 2 bedrooms and 2 baths, kitchen, livingroom. The grounds are amazingly beautifully! Pool was lovely. We only had issues with the water heater. The dishwasher did not work at all and the odd air conditioning unit. It helped keep cool. But, we couldn't close shudders with the tubing and that caused the sun coming in very early in the morning. All our concerns and water heater were repaired quickly. Would definitely recommend

Great place to escape and unwind with a view

The property itself is very nice. Depending on when you are there, I imaging the views from our side which was same side as the pool, will change. There is a great view, that the farmers seem to constantly be changing. The view on the other side of the property is just as nice, with olive trees, vines and a little village and 5 star hotel/chateau on the distant hill. We didn't have use of the pool, as it had closed the week before, but it looks like a great place to relax throughout the year. Our room was great. Downstairs there is a big living room, dining table, full kitchen and 3 doors opening onto the sunny patio with great views. Upstairs a comfy sitting/reading area, with the bedroom and a big bathroom with bathtub off it. The Team are very friendly and willing to help, we were given a very good suggestion for dinner in the little town nearby about 5-10min drive away. There is also a big supermarket there. The only things to be aware of are that reception is only open from 9am-1pm. There is a security guard that comes by every couple of hours and walks around the properties and grounds even through the night with a flashlight (which surprised us the 1st night until we realised it was the security) Lastly just be aware the road to the property is a dirt road for just over the last km. Otherwise if you are looking for a relaxing escape with a view, you will really enjoy this place.

Wonderful Experience! Our apartment (1 bedroom) was perfect – large, very clean, and fully equipped kitchen. The pool area is very nice. Wifi works great, even for video calls. We were a bit hesitant to travel in the current situation, but Podere San Filippo made it easy while still sticking to the local COVID guidelines. The staff was very accommodating and friendly. Given the local COVID limitations they had limited reception hours, but they worked with our schedule for our arrival after closing time. Overall staff was extremely welcoming and easy to work with. It is important to be aware there is no restaurant on the property. This was an appeal for us, as we believe it helps maintain the tranquility of the overall environment. There is a grocery store very close. When you arrive-you instantly feel the overwhelming sense of calm and tranquility. We stayed 3 nights, but wish it had been a week! One of the few places where we plan to return!

Beautiful tuscan ambiance

Amazing location, friendly staff, complete equipped. Only downside was that the air conditioning is not built in, its a machine with a tube out of the window, which means that the shutters couldn’t close. The whole family awoke at 6.30... on top of that lost one it’s tube during the night which left me overheated en dehydrated in the morning, wondering why it felt like I woke up in a desert. And it takes up space. Besides that we had a lovely stay!

A great family resort with good food.

What a great location, great owners and great food. Everyone that works here are so loving. A great and safe place to be with kids. You are 45 min away from Florence and about 25 min from San Gimignano. You can go visit and come back and be good. Love this place.

Fantastiskt ställe! Underbar lägenhet med gott om utrymme och alla tänkbara fasciliteter. AC, bra wi-fi, otroligt bekväma sängar och soffor, diskmaskin. Lugn och ro vid poolen, poolhanddukar extra plus. Grillmöjligheter. Utsikten och naturen runt om. Hit kommer vi igen!! Personalen otroligt serviceminded och vänliga. Vackert, både inne och ute! Vi har ett nytt favoritställe i Toscana!!

Non si può che dare il massimo dei voti!!! Tutto perfetto: dal personale gentile e disponibile, all'appartamento arredato nei particolari con stile tipico Toscano, accessoriato con tutto l'occorrente. Ottima pulizia. Stupenda la location. Consigliatissimo. Torneremo sicuramente magari in un periodo più caldo in modo da poter usare anche la piscina.
