Staff were helpful and place was clean. But best part was the location of the hotel. It was near places we wanted to visit or transport was available nearby.

El edificio y hotel en general bien, pero ofrecen un servicio de llamar un Medico el cual requeríamos, demoro demasiado y mejor lo agendamos para un dia despues, por la noche encontramos una cucaracha en el cuarto, tomamos un video y avisamos al staff, el cual solo nos comento que “Fumigan bien pero hay plaga” sin intencion de compensar o enmendar el evento, no volveremos a alojarnos aqui.

Problème de douche et pas d'eau chaude. Le personnel n'a répondu à aucune demande. Très déçu sachant que c'était mon 4eme séjour dans cet hôtel.

Lovely staff, welcoming and accommodating, lovely food (we had breakfast every morning at the hotel), good value for money and lovely terrace with pool and bar. Thank you all again.

Das Zimmer war viel zu klein, die Betten sehr hart, alt und quietschend. Im Bad konnte das Licht nicht abgeschaltet werden, war daher immer hell im Zimmer. Zum Schlafen brauche ich es aber dunkel.

Hotel superbe avec parking. Tres bien placé. Juste la douche etait abimée pas digne du prix. Salle de bain a ameliorer (simple rideau de douche, joints abimés, receveur abimé…)

Family room was good. Kids loved the pool on the roof. However I didnt appreciate the reception waking us up at 1.30am to confirm our pre-ordered taxi for the morning.

Very nice, but they really need to make the AC in the rooms more functional… We were 3 couples staying in different rooms, and we were hot at night. Excellent breakfaast buffet!

Catalonia Eixample 1864 was conveniently located to many common attractions in Barcelona. The front desk staff was courteous and helpful in directing us to taxis, restaurants, and attractions. The pool was a big hit with the kids (pre-teen) but it was small and mostly overrun with an adult crowd. We also used the self-parking garage which was located on site and reasonably priced. We would definitely stay at this property again.
