Great little hostel.

Spotless and very comfortable. Great location for the price. Staff is VERY friendly and offered us an upgrade with a private bathroom. All rooms have air conditioning and TV. Will stay again!

This is not a fancy hotel, but it is totally fine to stay there. The bathroom is clean, the internet works well and location is ok. It is a good place to stay with low budget.

Great Hostal in Poble Sec

We spent 6 days in Barcelona and we got the room with private bathroom. The room was comfortable and fully equipped, the staff was extremely friendly and polite - available 24/7 - and the Hostal was in the perfect location in Poble Sec, a nice residential area super close to the city centre! The cost is definitely on the high end for an Hostal, but all in all we were really satisfied with our stay

Very quiet area, close to transport, restaurants, grocery stores. We received clean linens every day. The bathroom had new facilities. There was a common kitchen with dishes and silverware. A refrigerator and microwave, also a pot for hot water. Coffee, sugar, and tea bags also. WiFi was included. A pleasant stay. Security was good and advice given on planning our stay.

Tucked away off the main road, you just ring the bell to gain entry. Based on first floor of apartment block, rooms are really quiet, spotlessly clean and cheap for Barcelona. Would use again.

A fairly good accommodation

I stayed with my friend in a twin room with a private bathroom and in general this was a clean and comfortable accommodation. It is close to the main attractions - it took us 15-20min to La Bouqeria market and La Rambla, 20min to the Gothic quarter and around 15min to the Montjuic neighbourhood (La Sagrada familia would be around 40mins by foot). If you don't enjoy a lot of walking, this place is well connected to all the other parts of the city with public transport and taxis that pass by often. There is someone at the reception at almost all times, so you can ask for help or assistance if needed. You can expect to get towels, soap, shampoo and toilet paper, so you wouldn't have to worry about that. Also, the super market, pharmacy, some small cafes and fast food chains are really close by (5min walk). On the other hand, you can expect slightly more noise than usual because the walls are very thin and the rooms are right next to each other, so you won't have complete silence (but this didn't bother us that much). Also, people we met in this hostel are not that fluent in English, so the communication isn't always clear and it would help you if you knew even a little bit of Spanish (at least to understand them). All in all, this was a good place for the price we paid with no major red flags and I would recommend it.
