Great location, cozy vibe, helpful staff, clean and safe.
Very attentive staff and polite.
Rooms are wonderful and they will do anything to accommodate your needs.
If u want a more relaxed private stay, this is it.
I stayed in Barcelona for a 2 day conference so to have somewhere this special made a big difference. The design of the hotel is beautiful - I did get upgraded to a lovely room with a lot of light. The staff were faultless - and the location really perfect. I would not hesitate to recommend it.
Here’s a polished 4–6 sentence review for The Margot House:
⸻
I had a fabulous stay at The Margot House Barcelona from October 31 to November 5. The service was excellent—attentive, warm, and always delivered with a sense of privacy and genuine friendliness. The atmosphere truly felt like a home away from home, with thoughtful touches throughout the property. The team went out of their way to make my boyfriend feel special on his birthday, surprising him with wine, balloons, and streamers that made the moment unforgettable. Their staff provided wonderful recommendations and were so friendly. This hotel is an absolute gem with exceptional hospitality and charm. I would highly and wholeheartedly recommend staying here. Mil gracias!!
Great hotel with limited rooms and great location. Staff are nice, room is spacious and good view, tasty decoration, sound proof even located at big street. Comfortable and clean, lots restaurants and bars nearby.
This is a very nice, clean property however we arrived after a 14hr flight to construction in the building, even during what you’d expect to be quiet hours - couldn’t get any rest. And the tenants in the floor above making sounds at all hours. The room is very nice but no window and there aren’t any free amenities. As nice as it is in some ways, for those reasons I would not recommend this place.
The staff of the Margot were terrific. Their guidance on where to eat, the best way to get around, and local color was top drawer.
The hotel is in the heart of tthe city, across from the Gaudi House, and close to some amazing Tapas restaurants.
Staying here was living living there. the small 9 room hotel occupied one floor of a residential building giving it a homey relaxed feel. The room had a full view of the boulevard.
This place is unique and impressive. It’s a truly boutique type of place with 9 rooms, making it quaint and friendly. Overall design is contemporary, welcoming and functional.
If you want to experience a different setting with exceptional staff, this is the place. Location is second to none.
Highly recommend!!!!
Can’t wait to go back.
We had a wonderful stay at Margot House. The location is unbeatable, right across from Gaudi’s Batllo House. And even though the hotel is right on Barcelona’s main avenue the beautiful rooms are incredibly quiet. All rooms are gorgeous but not all have windows so you want to make sure you are aware when making reservations. The staffs are warm and kind and make you feel at home. We would definitely stay at Margot House again!
This unique lodging experience was a highlight of our lodging experiences on the trip. The room was modern, comfortable and had a unique decor. We counted 54 framed pieces of art in our room (another 10 in the bathroom). The bathroom was a highlight, with separate nozzles on each end of the generously sized shower, and a luxury bathtub with a setee beside. For additional cost, there is an in-house chef who will prepare whatever your heart desires.
First, the hotel manager Narcis and staff Paulo were excellent. Very helpful and friendly in many ways. The location is the best, on the street right across Casa Batlló. Many great shops and restaurants. The light up on Batlló was beautiful and easy to see from my room window. Our room was right on the street but quiet thanks to the great sound proof of the hotel rooms. Very spacious and modern room with Aesop amenities.
I recommend having breakfast there. Everything was delicious! Lots of fruits, croissants, hams, eggs to be cooked, pancakes, and more. Perfect start of the day.
We really enjoyed our stay. Thank you so much :)
Great room. Somewhat noisy on a busy boulevard above a Macdonals. Bring earplugs. Concrete floors with no rugs. Bathroom is great looking but be aware of narrow spaces with multiple levels. No lobby and have to be buzzed into the hotel each time. Great Staff. Cool vibe to the hotel. Boutique hotel. Great location with everything walkable.
We like boutique hotels for their charm and personality, but don’t like to sacrifice quality. Margot House was an ideal fit for us.
In a secure building, Margot House occupies an entire floor with 9 rooms, and very warm and tasteful common areas.
The staff was great - both friendly and attentive, starting with Safa who contacted us in advance of our stay and arranged a driver from the airport and also reserved a table for us at 2254 Tapas - great meal and setting just around the corner.
The hotel is situated in a very nice area of town that is charming and an easy walk to areas like the Gothic Quarter. It is also located immediately across the street from Casa Botllo - we looked out at it from our room!
The room itself was tasteful and spacious for a big city hotel room. We had large windows looking onto Passeig de Gracia that were treated so no one could see in but also had an electronic blackout shade. The room had a Nespresso machine, all we could drink bottled water and a complimentary bottle of wine. We were also pleasantly surprised by the spacious 2 person shower and oversized bathtub.
Other small but important niceties were ample sockets on either side of the bed, bedside switched reading lights, an in room safe, plenty of closet space across from a large seating nook, and most importantly, a comfortable bed!
Overall it was a fantastic stay and hotel…. Thank you Margot House staff!

It's very clean, and the staff are also very nice! The surrounding commercial facilities are also very complete! The location of the hotel is very convenient!
My wife and I loved this 3 star Barcelona gem. Our room was a premium room in a safe location on Passeig de Gràcia. The hotel room had plenty of space, a king sized bed, an excellent breakfast, and terrific proximity to the major sightseeing spots. Plenty of quality restaurants in the area. The boutique hotel has excellent features including a large dining area, reading room, and our room had a large bathroom. The four night stay was enhanced greatly by the relationships we were able to establish with warm and friendly staff who shared the wonderful places Barcelona has to offer, like La Sagrada Familia, Park Guell, the Cathedral of Barcelona, and even a night at the theatre to see Flamenco dancers. If you're looking for an intimate and cozy lodging experience with peace and quiet and an excellent breakfast, this is the place!
