My only reason for the low score was the lack of AC. I was absoltuely drenched in sweat and it was almost hard to sleep at night. Breafkast was appreciated, and the outdoor area is pretty awesome, also the tourist tax is incredibly low here because it is outside of Barcelona proper, though you do have to travel a bit by train, luckily the station is not far at all.

The reception staff were super nice and friendly! I arrived at midnight and someone was there to check me in. The beds were very comfortable and so we're the bathroom facilities. Much more comfortable than hostels I have lived in the past in Cologne and Paris. Will definitely recommend as its very close to the airport.

Behind the success of a stay in this hostel is a very active and dynamic human team. In an authentic setting and among the members, you will love this great experience. You are in the heart of El Prat, this small town 3 km from the airport and Barcelona is not far away. Could use improvement but offers good shelter

My stay was extremely short, due to overnight layover. Proximity to the Airport is a plus, a 15 min walk to hostel from nearest metro (subway) station. Neighborhood is clean and had a safe feel even as I walked through it around 10 PM. The facility is a bit dated, with resonant acoustics but within acceptable sanitary standards. There is an ourdoor yard with bar stand of sorts. I encountered a black rat while making a phone call in the yard at night. I understand they are commonplace in many cities, but as I am not too fond of them to say the least, the factor was a major spoiler. Breakfast area is shared with small common room, comprised of fireplace, two sofas and some chairs as well as ceiling high shelves filled with books. Breakfast was simple (milk, cereal, variety of juices, apples) but offered a good start for the day. If having to stay overnight again, I may consider this place but only if no other comparable (price wise and amenities wise) options are available. If you are not too demanding this hostel offers a quiet and safe environment during your stay in Barcelona
