Fabulous place, everything you need for an overnight or longer. Shower cubicle is only small & my other half is a big guy so he struggled a bit & the towels weren’t very big so I’d take my own bath sheets when we come again. Very clean only a double bed so again was a squeeze but comfortable & clean. The heating was on in the hall way so that was a shock as it was very humid & its the warmest spring ever

The property, itself, is very clean and the bed was comfortable. The room size was about right, given my brief stay but I was surprised that the bathroom/shower facilities were shared; it had stated 'private bathroom' on their Expedia Listing. Given my early departure this could have been an issue; meaning having to get up extra early to guarantee being able to shower before leaving (for work/business). Location wise it is close to the railway station and a few shops/takeaways/restaurants. If the bathroom situation is not an issue (for you) then I'd recommend. Quiet area too.

Excellent Guest House

Stayed here in room 2 for 2 nights. I arrived about 4pm and was checked in. The guest house offers breakfast for an extra charge and I asked for the vegetarian option. The room was located on the first floor via stairs. Not really accessible for those with mobility problems, although there were definitely rooms on the ground floor too. The room was good sized with a single bed, wardrobe, a cabinet, a hairdryer, a washing sink and an armchair. Bath and hand towels were also provided. I had stayed the previous summer in another room and a small fan was provided. This room didn’t have that. One of the nights was hot enough that I slept without covers, so a fan would definitely have been welcome, but not a showstopper. There was no desk to work on, which made working on my laptop a bit difficult. Location-wise, the hotel is close to the Lincolnshire Wolds and about 30 minutes to the Humberside, by car. There’s not much in Barnetby-le-Wold, although there is a small supermarket nearby and a Co-op about 15 minutes walk. Overall, I had an excellent stay.
