"The property is lovely, although a little tired; the room was large with sofa, good storage and some strange wall hangings (think swords and battle axes!), but the bed was below par - two different beds pushed together that moved and were not very comfortable. The gym is good with a balcony that looks over the forest, and the spa was great with good massages and spa facilities. "Excellent small hotel right in the middle of the charming town of Sarlat. Literally two dozen restaurants, many of them excellent, within a 10-minute walk. Friendly and helpful staff. I highly recommend. Two things to note, without detracting from the above: street parking is metered during the day, and the optional parking garage spot (5-minute walk) must be reserved in advance and costs extra; and there is no laundry service (there's a laundromat not very far)."
