"Stayed 1 night and was happy with the hotel considering the small town & lack of options. It’s on Route 66, which has many other hotels, but I am glad I made this one my choice. Check in was easy and the woman at the desk was very friendly. When I mentioned I had allergies to pets, she quickly switched my room to one that does not allow pets. She did this without my asking. "The hidden gem of Barstow. Ive been to many road hotels. I enjoyed everything about Barstow Holiday Inn. Small room but everything you would need . Refrigerator , Micro the whole nine. Restaurants all around. Im a heath nut but couldn't resist Baskin Robbins and Dunken Doughnuts right next to Chili's steps away.On VaCa so splurging a tad. If you chose to book don't miss the

"Great for a night's stay while passing through. Clean, friendly staff, nice pool, well kept property. The only inconvenience was my bathroom faucet was really hard to get hot or cold, you never knew what you were going to get when you turned it on. Walking distance to mcdonalds and starbucks."

The breakfast was outstanding, the staff especially friendly and attentive, and determined to make our stay extra special!
