Hotel it was closed and we are nearly stay on the street and the hotel owner said it is not working with Hotel.com

Tea making facilities

This was our third stay at Redcar the staff are friendly enough and it's clean. But this year without any warning they removed the tea making facilities and they have also put a not drinking water sign next to the cold tap. To me they should have sent Emails to all guests as soon as they decided this to give us the choice. They should note all this on their website and if we had known we would have cancelled unfortunately it put a dampener on an otherwise good weekend.

Pleasant hotel in the very expensive City of Bath .NOT for the rich or super rich. No meal facilities but good value for money for an overnight stay. Within easy reach of Town Centre and lots of eating places within 200 metres. Excellent travel and transports links and Tour Buses from hotel. Plenty of local taxis, Uber etc too.Very busy Christmas Market just now. All will enjoy visit to Bath.

overnight stay

Not as described on website. Was under some refurbishment so no breakfast, and no bar. The rooms were basic and simple, but need a lot of work. No tea making facility provided although its shown that they were in the website photos. Disappointed.

After being told we were going to the worst hotel in Bath, my friend and I entered with trepidation obviously under the influence of alcohol. I guess we were a bit stunned as to the squint walls, mouldy bathroom and gale force winds coming through the closed windows. After some consideration and vodka we looked on the bright side, we had a bed, a stag do had arrived, we had a hot shower and we were going to watch the Rugby! The staff were easy going, friendly and up for a laugh. Although the hotel was like Faulty Towers, our weekend has been a complete giggle from start to finish and we are glad we didn’t change hotels.

Great location, room wasn't clean but I only stayed for one night so didn't bother the staff about it.

Friendly clean and basic,

Terrific location for visit to Bath. Friendly staff and basic clean accomodation in a very Georgian building in centre of town. Price excellent...just what I was looking floor as a place from which to explore this amazing city. Coming back!

Fantastic location, walking distance into the town centre and attractions. Room was light and airy. Did have the tendacy to get very hot though, and the window had to be propped open to stay up. Could do with a little TLC, carpets in hallway a little tired and flooring in room coming a part. Wifi signal very weak on the 1st floor, and would only connect in one spot in the room. But overall, enjoyed my stay. And simply for location would stay again.

Bath is amazing :)

Hotel is close to center, perfect to explore the city. Reception was open 24 hours and very friendly staff. Room was very small and basic but silent in night and daytime.

Not a Good Hotel to stay in

The only positive thing to say is that the hotel receptionist was pleasant and helpful. The hotel has no kitchen facilities so no tea/coffee and no water facilities. The bar was closed permenantly Our bedroom shower had no hot water and was broken. We had to but bottled water to use during the night. The entrance is dull and dismal. The hotel requires clean/paint and some manitenance

Friendly personnel. It is about a 20 minute walk to the city’s center but I did not mind. The walk gave me more options for eating and sight seeing. There is no restaurant. The bed mattress was lumpy. It was a good deal for the price.

Eccellente posizione, centralissima.Mi hanno da tre opzioni di scelta camera.Sbagliando ho scelto quelle nel semi interrato x questioni di comodita, ma è risultata un tantino rumorosa.

The hotel was worn down and looked like it had not been improved in the last 30 years. It was smelly like an old pub and the carpets all over were very dirty. The location however was very good close to the city center.

Unfortunately very hot with windows that can only open 3inches. Struggled to sleep during the very hot days.

Very historical building. It felt less like a hotel than a bedroom in a home, which was nice in some ways. High ceilings and beautiful window in a great location minutes away from the bath and abbey. Very friendly staff. Ammenties definitely need an upgrade: no wifi, and no tea/coffee. Also, there were signs saying not to drink the water, meaning water bottles should be provided in rooms, which they weren't. Overall a plesant stay if you like a relaxing, historical vibe, but skip this one if you like a more modern approach.
