โWe checked in at the Desoto hotel and were escorted to the B & B by hotel staff. The B and B is a beautiful condo that has 3 guest rooms and a full kitchen available to guests along with 2 common balcony areas, one with a dining area and the other for sitting. There is a dining area where you are greeted by the Innkeeper Rick MacDuff who is from Scotland and wears his klan kilt. The breakfast he and his wife have prepared are all natural ingredients and mostly Scottish influence. Gluten free...
โWonderful and friendly staff. Hotel could use some update but everything was in useable and good condition. Clean for the most part just starting to show its age. Very close to the pier, shopping shops, food and the beach. Didnโt book a room with a view but to ocean is a park lot away. Hotel had beach chairs and towels for use. It was a wonderful stay. Will stay again next time we are the area again in a month. โ
โMunicipal Grand was only a few months old when we visited. Originally a bank and then a municipal courthouse, the renovation has been amazing. So cool, so hip, so fun! The entire lobby is a bar, and the rooms were perfect +if a bit small). We did not make it up to the rooftop pool, might have made this place even better. โ
โAbsolutely wonderful place. Such care and love in all the details. Tge snacks were great, peach tea was awesone, andcthe breakfast was wonderful. โ
โStaff are very nice and helpful. You do need to find parking if you donโt want to use their valet. Breakfast food was good. I was pleasantly surprised by how quiet it was. Iโd stay here again!โ
โBeen there multiple times over recent years and we always enjoy our stay. A couple things we didn't care for this visit 1) Continuous calls from the Concierge desk. Letting us know at check in about specials and discounts is enough, i don't want notes left on our hotel door, calls, etc. 2) More pool chairs need to be set out during peak season. If every single chair is taken each morning by 9am thats annoying for guests. โ
โNo complaints except that the bathtub wasn't draining well. They addressed it and said they would get it fixed. Other than that, we enjoyed our stay.โ
