Bay of Fundy & Annapolis Valley, Canada hotel rooms at the Independent

We had no plan before arrival; Robyn gave us less than 10 mins introductions and suggestions; we took them and proved to be a best for our visits in NS!! One night is too short, stay longer even if just for Neil's breakfasts!

Great, knowledgeable hosts, a clean and convenient property, spacious room, topped off by an incredible breakfast! I would definitely recommend this B & B to anyone.

Super cute BnB, impeccably decorated interior, and great host + communication. Breakfast was delicious and cooked to order. Area is not walking distance from downtown, but the house does neighbor two parks and the water for walking around.

Fantastic stay! First time in the area. Hosts were very attentive and hospitable. Will definitely stay here on my next trip back in the spring. Highly recommended!

Beautiful place along river.

Fine hotel because of ceramic plates and real silverware. No plastic! Can you imagine that to-day? Go to Kingston, Nova Scotia and see it. Congratulations to this hotel. It is more work to clean real silverware and ceramic plates but it is so much better for our environement to produce less trash and to keep good eating manners. Beside of that everything was so good : comfort, friendly staff, cleaniness, price, ...

Accommodations were comfortable. Room 10 has a great view!

Access to our room was all done via email and was completely streamlined and easy. Room was very comfortable and clean, would recommend a water view. There are no elevators. I found the air conditioner a little loud but I am a very light sleeper. You are right downtown so a easy walk to everything. Highly recommend this place

While it looked dated on the outside, it was updated and clean in the inside.

We were pleasantly delighted at our north shore leg of our trip. Very accommodating staff and wonderful Victorian home. The Inn is also a deliciousrelaxing restaurant The historical gardens in the village was a plus.
