"Check in was a nightmare! After a full day of traveling, the room wasn't ready, even though it was 6 pm. Then we had to wait for a bellman for about 30 minutes to take us to the room, even though we wanted to just walk ourselves. Once we said were not going to attend the DIVI VACATIONS meeting, which was only available at noon on one of our days, the attitude changed! It was difficult to find chairs together at the pool, the pool was not in great condition either, there were lots of missing tiles. We also had to get our own chairs and umbrella the one day we were at the beach. We paid for the most expensive all inclusive, and there were NEVER any smoothies available from the coffee shop, one that you have to pay the upgraded price to enjoy. The buffet was okay, the burger and bar by the beach were fantastic. There were days that certain restaurants were to even open, which was odd to us. We had to constantly ask for coffee in our room just so I could brew a pot of coffee in the morning. Overall it was okay, most of the staff were very nice. "
"I really don’t have complains. Anything needed was attended by the staff immediately. Staff check up on us frequently
We had an ocean / beach view unit that was perfectly located. Unit was very clean when we checked in.
Each one of the staff was completely outstanding and the best I’ve encountered.
The restaurant was outdoor. We only had 2 dinners - hamburger was good, fish burger was on the dry side. It’s not a gourmet restaurant, ok by me. Plenty nearby restaurants walking distance.
I would go back in a heart beat.

"We staying in an ocean view room and it was great! Clean, had everything we needed to be perfectly comfortable. We greatly enjoyed having a full sized fridge and kitchenette so we could make our own food. It was lovely to sit on the patio and enjoy breakfast as we watched the birds and listened to the waves.
The pool area was beautiful! It looked like you were swimming in the ocean with the infinity pool. We didn't venture to the beach, it looked lovely but with the Atlantic exposure on this side of the island we chose to go explore some of the beaches on the Caribbean side of the island instead.
The staff hotel and restaurant staff were very competent. We used the hotel suggested car services (taxi) and met Juan the first day, he turned into our unofficial tour guide and restaurant suggester for the our stay on St. Maarten.
We also enjoyed meeting the other guests who were at the resort, many of whom had been back to this resort and St. Maarten regularly for 10, 20 or even 30 years. This is a lovely property and even though we were in the older part of the complex, we were very happy with our stay at Oyster Bay. "
The Atrium Beach Resort and Spa, an Ascend Collection Resort
10/10 Excellent
"The Atrium is a nice hotel and a great location. It's a 30 second walk to the beach from their pool area. The beach is supplied with blue chairs and umbrellas for the Atrium. Theres multiple restaurants that area just a sgort walk away from the Atrium.
The rooms are clean, comfortable and all have a nice balcony.
You can either take a taxi to get around or use the Bus and bus stop is located across from the burger king just down the street.

"Beautiful views of Simpson Bay! Lovely beach. Rooms looked brand new. Super accommodating staff. The area around property is lively, you can walk to many bars and restaurants. "
Sonesta Maho Beach All Inclusive Resort Casino & Spa
6/10 Okay
"Most of the staff not very pleasant - with exception of Italian restaurant. Resort under construction even on sundays. Kerik and Charlie made the trip - bartenders other than resort is ok , beaches are beautiful and close to airport which is nice and can see the planes take off and land "
