“A lovely inn situated in a peaceful village but very handy for visiting the attractions within York and the North Yorkshire National park. The staff were very welcoming and friendly and our room was very clean and comfortable. We can recommend the food and drinks on offer in the air conditioned restaurant, both on the evening we stayed and for breakfast the following day. Top marks.”

“The Village Inn was the perfect place for a stopover while travelling further south. Ideally located a short distance from Northallerton. Large car park, restaurant with a really good menu choice and very reasonably priced. The room was extremely clean and comfortable with heating you can control yourself. Powerful shower and very hot water. Breakfast was great, with choices of full English, Vegan, cereals etc. I would highly recommend the Village Inn to everybody looking for somewhere to stay...

“Check in wasent till 4:30pm.Quite busy when we arrived so had a drink a nice collection of ipa always a good thing.When got a drink told him we was checking in quite quick told us when your ready il show you to your room.To which they did explained everything.The room was everything we needed nice layout comfy bed.Near the train station but couldn’t hear much as trains pulled up.Shame they don’t do breakfast but there’s loads of place to go for something to eat in walking distance.Defo...
