“The property is amazing, lots of beautiful birds to see right from the porch area. The river is a 10 minute walk from the property. You can cool down and listen for monkeys. “For anyone looking for a small beautiful hidden gem resort close to San Ignacio, I'd highly recommend Villa Massis in Bullet Tree Falls! It's only a quick 10 min drive into San Ignacio. We had a 2-bedroom suite for the 4 of us and it was perfect. We booked airport transportation, transfer to Placencia, several rides into San Ignacio and all of our tours with them. Staff was friendly and went out of their way to help us.”

“What a find! Very quiet, secluded and private villas with well equiped kitchens and comfortable bed. Beautiful, large screened porch area. Very clean. “The room was very spacious and clean with comfortable beds. Ceiling fan and AC were a huge plus for the warmer nights. Loved the rooftop for hanging out and having breakfast. They even had clotheslines to help dry shoes and clothes after excursions. It is noisy at night but that is San Ignacio in general, not the hotel’s fault. Great location for walking to meals and excursions. Would definitely stay here again! ”
