โThis boutique-style hotel was everything we needed and more. We were only passing through, so we only got to stay one night. The Surfside was so cozy and charming. You walk out and boom, you are on the beach. The walkable restaurant choices have great food. The room was spacious, the bed was huge (and so so cozy!). I loved everything about it. I wish I could have stayed longer!โ
โWe're repeat guests and my only complaint is about the laundry facilities. It requires $5 in quarters to wash and dry a load, so if you don't have cash, you have to walk down to the corner store, get cash from the ATM there, come back to the front desk and have them change it into quarters. Theres no way to have laundry fees billed to your room or use a credit card. Who actually carries cash these days, especially 20 large coins??
Other than that (and the expensive parking fee), this hotel is...
โGame room had ping pong. Breakfast had great options. Guest laundry is coin operated and convenient. The gym is 24-7, the pool closes at night until morning. โ
โThoroughly enjoyed our stay. The staff was very helpful when checking in. The bed was extremely comfortable. The room was very clean. The coffee was very good in the morning and there were plenty of choices for breakfast. โ
