"First time travelers to this area. Nice to see a different topography of Portugal. Stayed in a Cork Shelter. Comfortable space. Hot water ran out but the shower flow can be reduced to lower flow which helped. The pool was lovely to linger by in the heat. Was fun to meet the resident pigs, roosters, hens, and goats! "The best part was Mrs Dana and her husband, lovely staff that receive us and cared about the place. The room was comfortable, relatively quiet (although I am not so sure about noise isolation for the rooms). It is relatively close to Abrantes by car, and there were two fantastic dogs that immediately came to greet us. It was a wonderful experience. The place needs some investing, though; it is a really nice property but in needs of some work."

"This hotel offers a lovely position overlooking a river, park, and of course the Templar Castle. The impressive lobby elicits a Wow expression upon entry! The rooms are clean and comfortable. Minor complaint is a 1 euro charge for each coffee capsule used in the room! Does it really impact the hotel's profit to charge for in-room coffee? Also, would have been nice to have free parking, but it is becoming more common for upscale hotels to charge for parking."
