Nice hotel with a pool walking distance to beach.

Very good hotel, but they didn't have a room for us when we arrived, despite our having prepaid for it months in advance. Management dealt with it well by sending us to another hotel for one night. So, apart from causing us some anxiety, it was only a small glitch.. It's not in the center of things, but everything you'd wand to do is within a short, cheap tuk-tuk ride. Management is very helpful arranging these, and anything else you need.

Fantastic hospitablity of the staff in a lovely, small villa. These guys offer a genuine, personalised service and looked to help us whenever they could. Great place, superb value!

Lovely hotel, great staff,amazing food

Great location, lovely staff who went out of their way to meet our needs! Great food! We stayed here for 7 nights and could not fault it. Seafood is amazing especially the lobsters and king prawns! Food was made to suit our taste. Staff were informative and great with my son.

Servicen var god, maden var god.Badeværelset manglede ligeholdelse. Lugtet af kloak.God Pool.Restauranten kunne gøres mere hyggeligt. Alt for store Menu kort for et lille hotel.Ingen drinks(Cocktail) kort.

När vi kom så sa de att Hotels.com missat bokningen och att vi fick bo på ett annat sämre hotell en natt. Verkar som det är något de satt i system... När vi väl fick bo på rätt hotell så var det dock bra. Mycket trevlig personal, fina rum och bra pool. Vi förlängde vistelsen två nätter. Absolut plus för personalen!

Great villa, great staff!

We had a great stay here, the staff were exceptionally friendly and very attentive. We ate in the villas two nights and the food was delicious, freshly sourced and prepared. A lovely member of staff came to our door each evening to show us the special dish of fish and to ask if we would like to order. A great service! The pool was also really lovely.

スタッフは皆フレンドリーで素晴らしいです。皆気軽に話しかけてくれますし、こちらも気兼ねなく話しかける事が出来ます。オーナーにその事を伝えたところ嬉しそうでした。スタッフの人柄はオーナーも自慢とするところなのでしょう。 食事は朝食は普通でしたが、ランチ、ディナーのアラカルトメニューは素朴ながらも美味しかったです。値段は決して安くは有りませんが、周辺の観光客向けのレストランと同水準だったので相場なのだと思います。 チェックアウトの時刻を2時間ほど遅くしてもらうことができたので、最終日にビーチやプールで楽しんだ後にシャワーを浴びることができ快適でした。プールも毎日清掃をしており清潔さが保たれています。プール掃除担当のスタッフは愛想はありませんが、実直で真面目です。庭の落ち葉を一生懸命拾ったり、誰も見ていなくても自分の仕事にきちんと取り組む姿が印象的でした。 着ていったシャツを捨てるつもりでゴミ箱に捨てて外出したところ、部屋の清掃スタッフが、私が間違えてゴミ箱に入れてしまったと思ったのか、畳んで置いておいてくれました。まだ着ようと思えば着ることができるシャツだったので、捨てずに持ち帰ってきました。これを御節介だと思うか、心がこもったサービスだと思うかはその時々でなんとも言えませんが、スタッフが考えながら仕事に取り組んでいる事の証だと受け止めました。 設備として書いてある電子レンジ、ランドリー設備などは見当たりませんでした。頼めば使わせてもらえるのかは不明です。他にもどんな設備が部屋にあるのかは事前に直接確認した方が良いでしょう。私の利用した部屋には冷蔵庫がありました。部屋にポットは有りませんので、温かい飲み物が欲しければ、敷設するレストランの利用となるでしょう。 スリランカの同等の宿泊施設に共通しますがスリッパは有りません。裸足に抵抗がある場合には持参する事をおすすめします。 ビーチまでは徒歩10分程度で行けますが、道がわかりにくいので、Google Mapなどを見せながらスタッフに尋ねてから出かける事をおすすめします。一番近いビーチは閑散としていますし、急に深くなるところもあるので、注意が必要です。遠浅のメインビーチへは砂浜を歩いて北上するのが近道です。ベントータのビーチの水は綺麗でしたが、砂は茶色です。 蚊取りマットが無いかと尋ねましたが、蚊帳があるから大丈夫と言われました。但し、シャワールームやバルコニー、プールサイドでは防ぎようがないので、虫除けスプレーでの自衛が必要でした。 残念だったのはトイレ周りの排水で水漏れと思われるものがあった点。短い滞在で時間もなかったので指摘しませんでしたが、少し気になりました。 代金支払いを現地とする形で予約を取りました。クレジットカード決済の場合、3%の手数料がかかります。キャッシングするにも近くには銀行が無いので、現金で現地払いとするなら前もってスリランカルピーの現金を用意しておくと良いと思います。 ここからニゴンボまでの車での移動をお願いしたところ、他の宿泊者との同乗による安い値段でのオファーをもらいました。結局出発時刻が合わず、そのオファーは無かったものとなりましたが、お得な提案をしたくれた事そのものに好感を持ちました。 結論として、私のニーズには合っており総じて満足です。ビーチに面した大型ホテルのような豪華さとは対極にありますが、リーズナブルな価格でスリランカ人スタッフの温かさに触れながら過ごすには適していると思います。

Very nice small hotel

We stayed here with our 8 year old son in March 2016 and we were most definitely impressed with the hotel, especially when considering the price. We were on the ground floor room with one very large King+ size bed with a mosquito net (we didn't get the pull out bed and all 3 slept in the one bed very comfortably). The room was equipped with a small fridge, t.v. , safe, air con and a very nice en suite. The pool and pool area are spotless and the pool itself is bigger than we expected. The staff at the hotel are superb. They are very friendly and seem genuinely pleased to see you, they are very conscientious as can be seen by the great environment around the hotel, they are extremely helpful ,whether it be with advice on the local area or driving guests to the beach in the hotels complementary Tuk-Tuk. The breakfast in the upstairs open air restaurant was a lovely fresh fruit buffet and cereal followed by eggs, sausage, bacon, toast and coffee or tea which set us up nicely for the day. The food in the restaurant is very good, my son enjoying the prawns in particular, limited vegetarian choice for me but that wouldn't put me off. The owner is also there to help a lot running tours or offering local advice, we went on a one day Yala tour which I would recommend. The evening visits to the surrounding trees by a small troop of monkeys was another highlight amongst many. In short this is a lovely family and couples friendly, great value, very friendly hotel I will be returning to
