I needed an extra pillow and they brought it to my room within a few minutes, they got me a taxi for my bus out of town, they had better then usual English understanding and treated me very well. "Staff was polite and some more helpful than others. Dinner and breakfast was great. But property seems a little old and condition was ok. Need to drive as the location is quite hard to access by walking. Nice view. "

"Excellent ryokan to stay and enjoy private onsen bath. The ryokan is super clean, neat and tidy. Dinner and breakfast meals were excellent and delicious. Staffs are super friendly. Onsen bath facilities are excellent, clean and very quiet. We had a great overnight stay here and will be back for sure in our next trip to Beppu. Highly recommended."
