Lovely staff but poor value for money

The pros: Taş Konak is an old stone home that’s been converted into a small guesthouse. The stone and wood vibe is charming and pleasing on the eye. The staff are lovely, and speak a little English if you’re not a Turkish speaker. The breakfast terrace has a spectacular view over the old town. Breakfast was good. The surrounding area is quiet and charming. It’s a five-minute walk in one direction to the town centre, and a five-minute walk in the other direction to the cable car station that will take you up to the Pergamon archeological site. The cons: For us, there were two significant cons. 1) the Wi-Fi signal was extremely weak in our room. Often, we were unable to connect at all and had to rely on hotspots through our phones, which burned through our limited data. 2) Our room had no kettle. The staff were very helpful in providing us with a small cafetière of hot water whenever we wanted one. But if you’re an early riser, there’s no way to enjoy an early-morning coffee as breakfast only starts at 8.30am. (The kitchen is closed until shortly before that time.) These may not be deal breakers for you. Everyone is different. However, we felt that poor wi-fi and the lack of a kettle were unacceptable for a room priced at €60 a night. You should be able to find better value for money, even in July. But, it *is* a lovely little place! Three-and-a-half stars.

Lobi yanindaki odamiz ek yatak ile 3 kisilik hale getirildi. Ek yatak konforu iyiydi. Klima etkili olarak çalıştı. Odada buzdolabi ve sac kurutma makinasi yoktu. Oda yeterli genislikteydi. Otelin dis ortamdaki oturma yeri ve manzarasi iyiydi.

Resepsiyonun yanındaki 1 numaralı oda verildi çocuk olduğunu başka bir odayla değişiklik yapılıp yapılamayacağını sorduk, ki o sırada başka bir müşteri gelip odanız var mı boş dediğinde var tabii gösterelim yanıtını duymustuk, bize oda yok dendi. Bende giriş burada ses olur çocuk hemen uyanır dedik kimse yardımcı olmadı. Banyo duşakabin çok pisti. Saç kılı vardı hiç temizlenmemiş maalesef. Yatak oldukça eski her dönüşte garc gurc ses çıkarıyor. Üst kattaki misafirin yürümesini sanki yanınızdaymış gibi hissediyorsunuz bu sebeple hiç uyuyamadık. Konaklamak isteyen bu özellikleri dikkate almalı. Ben bidaha konaklamam.

l'emplacement est très pratique et dans un quartier typique et calme. La chambre était bien par contre la salle de bien bien qu'elle était propre présentait des dysfonctionnements (fuite bac de douche, chasse d'eau bloquée) Bon rapport qualité prix et personnel attentif au client

Teras manzarası çok iyiydi, park alanı otelin önünde değil ve ıssız bir bölgede. Kahvaltı içerik çeşidi olarak zayıf, ekmekler kurumuş, yumurta tava dibine yapışmış ve kuru idi, tek çeşit peynir Bergama tulumu idi ve miktarı çok azdı. Oda yüksek tavanlı, kettle ve içme suyu yoktu, duş kırıktı, oda dışında kat için ortak manzaralı balkon iyiydi.

Bergama’da Muhteşem Bir Konaklama

İzmir-Çanakkale aksının ortasında yer alan ve tarihi, doğası ve muhtelif diğer muhteşemlikleriyle öne çıkan Bergama’nın eski yerleşim bölgesi olarak da nitelendirilebilecek eski taş evlerle bezeli mahallesinde yer alan bu şahane tesis, Bergama’ya her yolu düşenin mutlaka konaklaması gereken bir yer. Ev konforunu ve kalitesini yaşayıp kendinizi evinizde gibi hissetmenin yanı sıra hijyen standartları ve temizliği ile fark yaratmakta ve bilhassa bu hususta hassas insanlar için ilave bir tercih nedeni olabilir. Otele her ne kadar geç giriş yaptığımızdan dolayı akşamını göremesek de iç avlusunun güzelliği ve ferahlığı ve terasının sahip olduğu hakim şehir ve dağ panoramaları misafirlere tartışmasız muazzam bir görsel şölen sunmakta ve eşzamanlı olarak sunulan ve beraberinde yöresel lezzetlerle de bezenmiş tatmin edici bir kahvaltı da tesis tarafından misafirlere sağlanmaktadır. Tüm bu nedenlerle yolumuz bir daha Bergama’ya düşerse tesise tekrar uğrama niyetindeyiz. Misafirliklerine istinaden Ata Bey’e ve eşine çok teşekkür ederiz.

Konak ve konumu çok güzel. Ancak odalara ayakkabı ile çıkılamadığı için verilen geçici terlikleri tuvalette de kullanmak durumunda kalınıyor, bu hijyen açısından yeterli değil. Biz çözüm olarak tuvalette kendi terliklerimizi kullandık. Odamız genel olarak çok temiz değildi. Çocuklu giriş yapacağımızı belirttiğimiz halde ek bir yatak hazırlığı yapılmamıştı. Özellikle yatak yanları tozluydu. Tuvaletteki şampuanlar yarımdı. Tuvalet fırçasının sapı kırıktı. Tuvaletin havalandırması yeterli değil. Kahvaltı bizim için yeterliydi. Sokaklar dar olduğundan aracımız için bir kaç dakika uzaklıktaki boş alanı kullandık, sorun yaşamadık.

The place has an excellent view of the town and the owners are amazing people. They work very hard to accomodate the guests' needs and they achieve to create a relaxing experience for all. Their breakfast is plenty and delicious, their conversations are most informed and informing. The rooms are large and confortable. Highlt recommended, would surely go back to stay there again.

Genel olarak memnun kaldık. Çalışanların nezaketi, özeni, temizlik hizmetleri gerçekten mükemmel. Her işletmede bir Melis Hanım olsa keşke...Otele konaklama dışında müşteri alınması (yeme-içme) bize pek doğru gelmedi. Bina, odalar, kahvaltı, temizlik mükemmeldi. Odalarda minik bir buzdolabı olsa iyi olurdu..Umarız böyle devam eder.

Otel hoş ve çalışanlar ilgili ama fiyatlarınızı neden euro üzerinden hesaplıyorsunuz? Ben bir kaç ay önce 180 tlnye aldığım otel için 30 euro hesaplandı ve 205 tl ödedim.euro 10 tl olsa odaya 300 tl ödeyecektim. Ne alaka onu anlayamadım? Hangi gider %15 artı?

Pergamon ruhuna yakışır bir konaklama...

Çok güzel restore edilmiş eski bir taş konakta, kızıl avlu'ya bakan şehir manzaralı bir odamız vardı, otel nezih ve güzeldi. Sahipleri ise çok misafirperverdi. Kahvaltı da oldukça güzeldi.
