โThe room was lovely, great bathroom, comfy bed and a nice balcony which got the sun in the evening.
We really liked the location too. It was a 3 minute walk from the bus stop for the airport bus and then a 10 minute walk to the funicular to the old town.
Check in was super easy, but you do need a phone to check in. There isnโt a reception.
We ate near the hotel rather than going back up to the old town and there are some lovely restaurants nearby.

โGreat stay for a quick trip to Bergamo, walking distance to train station and Bergamo centre. Lovely hosts and a great room for a family of 5, clean and very comfy โ
โHotel Gombit has a great location, but, more that, the hotel room was spacious, with ample shower space, elegantly decorated, and with the most comfortable bed. The staff was very friendly and helpful, and breakfast was great. It is a short walk from restaurants, shopping, and the fernicular. My husband and I had a wonderful time in the hotel and the enchanting town.โ
โWe stay one night at the property. We arrived one hour early for booking in and owner came to let us check.
Sonia was lovely and she even organised us a transfer to the airport.
The apartment was excellent.โ
โA quiet, serene spot, right in the old city of Bergamo. There's a lovely, calm garden area, and our room was bright and welcoming, Though the bathroom wasn't en suite, it was private and spacious. It was a bit odd to not interact with any staff (there is an electronic check-in process), we didn't have any issues so there was no need to contact anyone. Very close to lots of restaurants and cafes and beautiful sites to explore. โ
โThe Hotel Bergamo a beautiful place to stay. Everything was clean and comfortable. We did have an issue checking into room, and even after we could check in, we noticed that there was someone else struggling to access their check in code. Overall, however, I would highly recommend.โ
