"The hotel overall is nice and clean and pretty good if you’re just in the city for a couple days and spending most of your days outside and not in your hotel room. Liz was great letting us check in early to our room to explore the city early. One of the only issues we had in our stay was the a/c unit did not work at all. It was better to keep the window open to allow cool air to come in & our TV didn’t work at all which we didn’t mind but we wanted to watch tv before bed. "

"The Marker at Union Square is awesome. It's well located with union square being right there, and everything is pretty easy to get to from here. It was very clean, comfortable and a beautiful hotel. As amazing as the hotel is the staff was the best thing about our stay. They were always kind and courteous, and when we ran into an issue with my wife leaving her phone in a Lyft, they didn't hesitate to help us and getting her phone back. We can't thank them enough for making our stay memorable "

"Finding what I looked for -- a clean, affordable (modest-income "affordable") place to sleep and get up super-early for a 7AM flight from SF). The claim that this was the largest Tavelodge in (they specified, I'll generalize) the surrounding area was correct. A series of small room-ready buildings meant it did NOT overwhelm which was good! Room was way more than adequate, all I needed (see above). The other REQUIREMENT was a ready airport shuttle. Some improvements possible - an E-Vehicle would have been Best, of course, but not surprisingly, not in their "budget". However, during "peak" times, it ran EVERY 45 MINUTES, which could have made a whole lotta people happier had it come/gone more often. Both drivers - from and back to SFO - were great, as were the Front Desk folks. THIS IS WHAT I EXPECT from any accommodation! Hence my "GOOD" rating. Nothing was "wrong" I just reserve "exceptional" for ... well ... surprising me with "more"."
