Die Panke entspringt nordöstlich von Bernau bei Berlin. Ein Grabensystem ersetzt seit 1930 das eigentliche Pankefließ mit seinen Zuflüssen. Von den vormaligen Landwirtschaftsflächen (heute Gewerbegebiet) führt dieser Pfad zur Straße. Eine der vielen Überführungen über die Panke. Im Sommer 2010 ist bei der Begehung dank eines üppigen Bewuchses das Fließ nur an der Vertiefung zu erkennen.

"Nena Appartment was perfect for my business trip to Berlin! Small kitchen, laundry and good living space (I booked a studio). Everything I needed was accessible by walking distance and the subway Hermannplatz is 2 minutes of walk and afterwards, less than 20 min from major tourist attractions. My only negative comments is that the area is quite noisy up until late in the evening (lots of ambulance trips!). Other than that, it was excellent!"

"The family really enjoyed the stay here. 5 minutes to the U2 station, many good restaurants and beer garden in the area. Safe, quiet at night, great area to walk around even with young kids. Apartment was clean and and the patio was great. Would love to stay here again."
