"The motel itself is very nice and the lady at the front desk was very lovely and her english was very clear i enjoyed my laugh with her, the male manager i found to be slightly rude with the communication barrier, i feel if you have staff smoking on property they should have a designated place i didnt enjoy having a cigarette being smoked right in the middle of the carpark. Only problems we had was the barking dog right next to our room that went off random times at night and the walls are very thin so i could hear next doors tv untill 11pm "

"The room was clean and well presented. Some paint repairs need to be done in the bathroom. The reception area was pretty ordinary, and outside that was not clean. The staff were helpful, specifically the cleaning staff."

"Comfortable stay for one night. Beds were good. We can’t comment on the food as we didn’t eat there. Staff were friendly. Central location. Short flat walk to two large supermarkets and the historic railway station. Parking was easy on site, although the hotel charges NZ $20 per night."
