“We had a lovely overnight stay. The staff were very welcoming and informative. The room was clean and spacious with comfortable beds, our wee one especially loved the bunk bed. We booked in for dinner which was absolutely delicious and would highly recommend. The area is beautiful, we will definitely be back! ”

“We had a an excellent one night stay. We ate in the restaurant in the evening. My husband’s daughter has a severe mustard and nut allergy and the staff were excellent in ensuring she was aware of the dishes that contained these ingredients. The meal in the evening was excellent as was the breakfast. All the staff we came into contact with in the bar, restaurant and reception were friendly and efficient. We would all definitely stay at The Olde Ship Inn again.”

“Room was lovely and cosy, clean and did the job for our two day stay. TV was a bit hit or miss. Only one small mirror in bathroom but no electric socket near the bathroom for drying or straighening hair, mirror in actual bedroom would have been very beneficial.”

“East House is a lovely old property. We had a large room with a great view across farm fields (there were cows!), and the sea, you could also see Dunstanburgh castle in the distance. The host was really welcoming and friendly. Despite what it says in the description the beds are fully made up and there is a good supply of towels in the bathroom so you don’t need to bring sheets etc. nice touches in the room included a kettle, coffee, fresh milk, cereals, biscuits, shampoo, hair conditioner,...
