Top Berwick-upon-Tweed Hotel Reviews
Doxford Hall Hotel & Spa
10/10 Excellent
"Superb in every way. Our new favourite hotel."
Purdy Lodge
10/10 Excellent
"Have recently stayed to attend a local wedding, we had three rooms, facilities were just what we needed, clean room, comfortable beds, staff all polite, professional and helpful, breakfast had everything you needed, food very good. Would stay again , also close to local tourist attractions too."
The Tempus at Charlton Hall Estate
8/10 Good
"The room was beautiful and the breakfast was lovely. Unfortunately, the dinner was not so good. It’s quite expensive for what you get, I ordered fish and chips and the chips tasted like they had been reheat and weren’t very nice at all."
The Hog's Head Inn - The Inn Collection Group
10/10 Excellent
"Every thing was good I would go back again"
YHA Berwick - Hostel
10/10 Excellent
"Stayed many times. In this historic 300 year old property and always leave replaced"
Schloss Roxburghe Golf Resort, Part of Destination by Hyatt
10/10 Excellent
"Booking restaurant reservations for more than six people is via an automated telephone system which isn’t managed. Very difficult to book a table. Book on line should provide a larger table capacity selection or provide an email to request a table for larger parties not the telephone system."
The Castle Hotel
8/10 Good
"Warm, clean, simple room with compact bathroom, hairdryer, bedside table light and tea/coffee facilities. Good continental breakfast. Shaving light and USB ports not working in room 11, otherwise all good and would use again for very convenient overnight stay right opposite the railway station."
Roxburghe Cottages, Part of Destination by Hyatt
10/10 Excellent
"Pet friendly hotel and cottages. Plenty of areas to walk around the grounds. In the hotel there is a pet friendly bar and restaurant area. The clubhouse has food too. There is a small shop, lovely pastries. The only issue is no welcome pack with a map of the grounds, how to work the hob, cooker and heating. Even the staff didn’t know how to work the heaters! One out of three worked after a google search. However this will not stop us going back. Staff were friendly and helpful."
The Joiners Arms
10/10 Excellent
"A relaxing and cozy room, really well designed, and fantastic restaurant dinner and breakfast and attentive service. A great stay after a day on our feet visiting castles."
