His family will cook all your meals and advise you on exploring the forest around their home. You are deep in the jungle, (requiring a 4x4 to get there), with everything that entails. So expect very basic facilities, though on the plus side there are no dangerous snakes or spiders in Vanuatu. All the people in the surrounding villages are very friendly, all the children will want to meet and play with you. The views over the volcano are spectacular and the property in a short walk from the river and the volcano ashfield. Tours included vsiting caves, hot springs, kustom villages and the volcano. Overall it felt a very safe, welcoming experience that I recommend to anyone wanting to escape the coastal resorts and see how many people really live in Vanuatu. "
