Top Beursplein Hotel Reviews
Rho Hotel
10/10 Excellent
"We stayed at the Rho Hotel for three nights during our visit to Amsterdam, and it proved to be a fantastic choice. The location could hardly be better: it sits just off Dam Square on a remarkably quiet side street, so you get all the buzz of the city centre without the street noise. Central Station, the Red Light District, the iconic canals, and most major sights are within easy walking distance. Our room was surprisingly spacious, as was the private bathroom. Everything was impeccably clean, well maintained, and comfortable, with daily housekeeping that kept things fresh throughout our visit. Having a small fridge in the room was a very useful touch as well. The only minor surprise was the lack of a kettle in the room; hot water at the lobby bar comes with a fee, so having a quick cup of tea in the evening is not quite complimentary. Having breakfast included in the room rate was a definite perk, which is surprisingly rare for central Amsterdam. While the breakfast selection was fairly simple and identical on all three mornings, it was perfectly decent and saved us valuable time and effort before heading out to explore for the day. Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The Rho Hotel strikes an ideal balance between central convenience, comfort, and space, making it a brilliant base for sightseeing."
Die Port van Cleve Hotel
8/10 Good
"The property was wonderful and historic and the restaurant was excellent. The problem we had was with one person at the front desk that was not at all helpful when asked to recommend a nearby pizza restaurant. I found out from the next person I talked to that they actually had a list of recommended restaurants that he could have given me which that person did give me. I think they should have offered it to us when we checked in. Also whenever we asked to directions to anywhere we were told it was a short walk (which it usually was not). It would have been helpful if they had instructed us on how to use the public transportation"
Hotel Old Quarter
10/10 Excellent
"This hotel was great. We did have a canal view and it was a great view right on the canal. This place is just the overall package with the bar being the check in. You cannot really just view the room alone but the entire package. Sammy and the team were great at the bar. It is very convenient to the metro station, red light district and about everything else in the city"
Hotel Manofa
8/10 Good
"While this is a “budget hotel” for Amsterdam it did have some surprising amenities such as air conditioning and room safes. The bathroom was surprisingly modern with rainhead shower and ample space. The rooms are tight and there’s no elevator. The location suited us well as we could walk to the train station and the tram line went down the street in front. We didn’t have much of a problem with noise. Restaurants were adjacent. With Amsterdam’s ridiculous prices I would consider returning."
Kimpton De Witt Amsterdam by IHG
10/10 Excellent
"Large, clean, beautiful, convenient."
INK Hotel Amsterdam - MGallery
10/10 Excellent
"The neighborhood was not the best, but across the street and thru the ally took us to lots of nice cafes and shops. Front desk should make thos clear at check-in. The fact that everything had to be done by credit card was fine, except when the wifi was down - which was often."
The Flying Pig Downtown Youth Hostel
8/10 Good
"The bed was super hard and the pillow was uncomfortably soft. Nice location, great Wi-Fi connection."
Hotel Tourist Inn
