"Repeat stay Clean rooms"

"I never actually got to stay at the hotel due to unforeseen circumstances. However, this review is based on the lack of communication received from the hotel. At time of booking I asked via the Expedia messaging service about pet supplements. No response. I asked again. No response. I asked a third time and requested details about parking in the area. Again, no response. I wanted to rearrange my booking. I discussed with Expedia the request and they said they would contact the hotel and get back within 24 hours. 24 hours past and no response. I did not know if I still had a booking or not. I again messaged 30mins before checking time, to find out what was happening to my booking. No response was received until the following day, with the hotel stating how sorry they were I cancelled, no comment about rescheduling, plus the dates of my booked stay were wrongly quoted. Based on my experience, the hotel needs to very much improve on their customer communication skills."

"The superior room was comfortable and led out to a huge quiet garden. But the decking and furniture outside were rotten. The bathroom had an unstable toilet and a difficult shower. Insulation was poor. Presentation on approach wasn’t great, with dead plants everywhere. Having said that, we had a great night’s sleep and staff were friendly and helpful. Location great."

"**Review** We really enjoyed our stay at this lovely hotel. It is very nice, charming and welcoming, with a fantastic location right on the seafront. Before our arrival, we had a few queries, and George was extremely helpful in clarifying everything for us. Throughout the reservation process and during our stay, the staff were wonderful and always happy to assist with any questions. One of the most important things for us was that the hotel is genuinely dog-friendly, as we travel everywhere with our small dog. It was great that she was welcome in the areas we needed, which made our stay much easier and more enjoyable. Overall, we had a wonderful stay and would definitely choose this hotel again next time we visit Eastbourne."

"Really amazing hotel, much better than I expected Rooms are very big, high ceiling and right in front of the sea for an amazing sea view . Highly recommended and will use this again. Big thanks to Mark for welcoming us despite us coming very late and the receptionists were super too! (Didn't catch either name) Rooms are clean and all staff are very helpful and great Keep up the amazing hospitality!"
