"I have stayed at many hotels in Leavenworth. This is my favorite!!!! The property is beautiful and relaxing. Lovely pool and hotter and deck as well as other extras on the property that make for a restful getaway. I love everything about the BLUE ELK and it is now our go to Inn for Leavenworth! Amazing breakfast too!!!! Love the BLUE ELK!!!!"

"two things to check out.The showers need to upgraded. The shower head is so high you need a chair or stool to adjust it. you need a flexible hose to cure that. Also the TV control was slow and hard to control. It would blank out then you needed to shut it off then it would come back on."

"The property is old and tired but clean and the beds were comfortable. Our check in went great and the receptionist (man in his 30s) was super nice. Our biggest issue was with breakfast: mainly that there wasn’t any. We got to the dining room at 9:13 and all the sausages, bacon, eggs, waffle batter were gone. The receptionist unapologetically let us know that she won’t make any more bc she’s the only person there and they only serve breakfast till 9:30 anyway. There was another family who came in after us with a child and they also had to turn away without anything to eat. So, management, stop being cheap and make enough food for your guests. Won’t be returning."
