“Although the hotel facilities were good and the location was very central, our room was above the bar which was a club on Saturday night. The music was really loud till midnight. Although the web site mentioned that they had a DJ, we hadn't expected to be right above it.”

“Lovely hotel with a lot of history which was displayed around various walls at reception, If you don’t mind walking up various sets of stairs to get to your room (we were on level 1) you’ll be fine. There weren’t a lot of stairs but it was “walk up a couple then down a corridor, through a door and few more steps, another corridor and other door”. The floors creaked also but it was an old building so can’t complain. Free on site parking but be aware, pigeons live in the roof of the parking area...

“I would stay again but its no good for those who work and need Breakfast. I didn't have B/Fast because it would make me late for work. B/Fasts need to start at 0700 hrs not at 0800 as it doesn't allow for normal day workers.”
