โI had a short, but nice stay at the Village Hotel. The room was nice and clean and the staff was extremely nice. I flew in from the US and brought the wrong type of voltage adapter with me. The gentleman at the front desk was kind enough to lend me a cell phone charger, which really saved the day. Great hotel!

โLovely friendly staff. Generally the facilities are good with the exception of the work area. The desk is fixed to the wall which is fine but it's very poor quality, in 2 of the 3 rooms that I've stayed in the desk is cracked and ready to break. There is also a stool to sit on and again very poor quality and uncomfortable to sit on. I've stayed in single rooms and am satisfied with the rest of the facilities in the room. โVery efficient, clean, comfortable and very welcoming. The surrounding area felt a bit run down and unsafe. However the train station was nearby and there are several bus routes available. โ
โMy stay at Ramala was quite good. The breakfast was excellent, but the rooms donโt have any AC, which was a bit uncomfortable in the warm weather. If youโre working or sleeping, itโs best to put the โDo Not Disturbโ sign out as the cleaners tend to bang on the doors. Aldi and Asda are just a 1-2 minute walk away, while McDonaldโs and other food stores are about 5-10 minutes depending on your pace. Overall, Iโd rate it 8 out of 10.โ
โThe property is great. I was traveling with my wife, daughter (13 yrs old) and nephew (16 yrs old). The unit has 2 bedrooms and a sofa bed. It's a large space approximately 600 sqft. There is also parking which is a big plus in England.
The unit does not indicate it has a washer and dryer but the picture of the unit clearly shows a washer. Unfortunately there's no dryer and since we were traveling during the winter it took a long time for the clothes to hang dry. We were in outer Birmingham...

I had booked a twin room but on arrival we only had 1 small cup, and 1 pillow on each bed, we were supplied with extras once I went to reception. When making tea we discovered we only had supplies for one each so went without before departure. Room was shabby with broken furniture but beds were comfortable and we had a good night sleepโ
โA simple hotel in the middle of Stourbridge. Rooms are adequate in size, the bed is comfortable and there's a good shower in the bathroom.
There was a problem with my room but it got sorted quickly and the staff were excellent.
Small changes in the bathroom would help - a shelf above the sink so there's somewhere to put your stuff and similarly a soap dish in the shower would be really useful.โ
