Evangeline's Tower Bed & Breakfast

"This was a charming small inn with an authentic, vintage feel. Some of the details instantly transported me back to my childhood visits to my grandmothers house in Amherst NS. I think there must have been a certain Victorian decor style that was a bit specific to Nova Scotia. Anyhow, the bed was comfortable, and the room was spacious and inviting. Breakfast was magnificent; we had blueberry cinnamon buns, an egg and vegetable dish and fruit parfait. You will not leave hungry."

"This was a great choice. The cottage was great. Clean, lots of room. The kitchen dining area was very nice. We were pleasantly surprised when we opened the door. Breakfast was very good as well. "We stayed in a small cabin and it was fine. Very small so it was hard to have our suitcases in there with us. Beds and linens were comfortable. Unfortunately if other cabins leave their porch lights on all night, they shine directly into the room through the uncovered top windows in the cabin making it as bright as day. Not great for sleeping! Staff were friendly. I would stay in the main building if we returned."

"Mike and Adele were excellent hosts making us feel welcome. Our room had a queen bed and a sitting area.with a coffee maker and mini fridge. There is a heated pool available for guests to use. Mike cooked a delicious hot breakfast for us. He recommended local attractions and places for hiking. We will definitely come back and stay longer on our next visit to the area"
