"All was very satisfactory - good internet. Comfortable bed. Fan in room was a bonus. No sockets to charge tech was bit disappointing."

"Bombarded with WhatsApp messages to complete a pre-check in form, including credit card for incidental expenses and photo ID, yet when arrived none of this seemed to be on the system and the pre-approved card was of a type not accepted. Attempt to up-sell you early check in etc at every opportunity. Check-in strictly restricted until 3pm, but you can only leave luggage at the hotel if arriving earlier if you’re prepared to pay a charge of £10/item - same with leaving after check out. Room was in a grimy, yet-to-be refurbished part of the building. Hairs in bathroom. No iron in room. "

"Stayed 1 night before having to catch a really early Eurostar train to Brussels, its really close to the station. The staff were friendly and would do anything for you. The room is on the small side, would say compact but has everything you need. The building has character but overal a solid stay. Only thing to mention is the shower water was tepid, even on the highest setting. "

"What a wonderful stay. I came up with family for my birthday and had such a warm welcome together with an upgrade to a gorgeous junior suite. In addition they had gone to the trouble of leaving balloons and a lovely slice of birthday cake in my room ready for my arrival. It was such a nice gesture and very very appreciated. We have stayed in this hotel before and were met with such a warm welcome from the reception staff that it was our first choice of hotel for this return trip. Location btw is fantastic. "
