Great location for Lake Bohinj activities

The location was great for access to Lake Bohinj. The hosts were wonderful and helpful. The drying room made getting stuck in the rainstorm not an issue with packing the next day.

A friendly hotel in a great location, with a good breakfast (sit in the conservatory and breakfast with viws if the mountains!) Skip Lake Bled and come here instead!

We would highly recommend this lovely hotel. The owners were super friendly and very helpful. We especially liked its location as we could easily walk to several restaurants in the town and the town next door. Finally the breakfasts were delicious and one could tell they went out of their was the accommodate people’s special food desires such as vegetarian vegan or gluten free. they even had peanut butter

Really enjoyed our stay at Hotel Gasperin. It's easy to arrive at the hotel by bus from Bled. There's also parking for cars. The hotel is in great condition, seems almost new. Everything is well built and clean. Our room was an economy double, but still quite large. Excellent wifi throughout, Staff are very friendly and knowledgable. English is one of the native languages. Breakfast was amazing. The hotel is a short walk to the lake, shops, restaurants, etc.

Lovely hotel in beautiful area, good breakfast clean rooms would definitely want to pay the extra for balcony room with mountain view as the other side didn't really seem to have any very convenient for the supermarket and attractions that bohinj has to offer would love to go back and would stay here

We had a wonderful stay at Hotel Gasperin. The entire property is immaculately clean and the rooms appeared to be recently remodeled. The owners were very helpful with recommending activities and restaurants in the area. The daily breakfast had so many choices including many vegan options. Everything was fresh and they also made eggs to order. It was a short 2-3 minute walk to the lake, tourist center, and small grocery store. Location is central to many activities. We would definitely stay again.

Pleasant hotel in an attractive area.

The Gasperin is a pleasant hotel in an attractive area. The weather was cloudy and wet for most of our stay. The room we were in was on the ground floor and quite dark which might have been ok if it was sunny but it wasn’t. The area is pretty and although the hotel doesn’t offer evening meals there is a reasonable selection of places to eat nearby. The breakfast was good and the staff were helpful and friendly. The sun started to shine as we left and the lake was breathtaking.

This hotel provides all needed in delicate way!

The room is spacious and new. The view out of the window is beautiful. Only 5minutes walk to the lake! I can feel the owner put a lot of effort into every details, which makes the hotel delicately comfortable. For example, the quality of hand washing liquid and the shower liquid are quite good; breakfast is delicately delicious. So many such small details make me feel enjoyable to choose this hotel. But the most important is the owner understands the needs of the tourists. She put a lot of needed information in the public area, and of course you can ask questions and the owner can answer very patiently! Anyway, to choose this hotel is a good decision!

The hotel is within the national park, it is only a few minutes walk from lake Bohinj and the local restaurants, a short journey (10 mins by free ski bus) to the Vogel ski cable car. The staff speak excellent English and go out of their way to help, assist, and offer suggestions. The breakfasts are fantastic, beautifully prepared, with lots of choice. The facilities are immaculately clean. We would highly recommend this hotel and location, especially if you would like a quieter location but still able to offer easy access to the all of the local amenities - we cannot wait to return!

Longing to go back

We had an amazing stay. It rained a lot but the hotel itself was so cozy, we didn’t mind hanging out in the room (we booked a large room for 4, even though there were 2 of us) in between hiking and exploring. Our room had two balconies/verandas which were great to watch the clouds from. Breakfast was superb-lots of variety which changed some during our 5 days there. Eggs on request along with pretty much everything you’d want for breakfast, including yummy cupcakes and dessert-y things. Great coffee. The owners are amazingly efficient- the hotel is really well-run. Everything was spotless, and room cleaning happened unobtrusively. We turned in some laundry- 15 euros for 5 kilos which is a great price … it was returned to us clean several hours later. The only slight drawback was no blackout curtains in the room, so we woke a little early. But other than that, I couldn’t recommend this hotel any higher. Also, we enjoyed the Lake Bohinj area more than the Bled area; it’s quieter and more relaxed/less tourist-central. If you’re considering a stay in the Bohinj area, just book this hotel! I don’t believe you’ll regret it!
