“This is a lovely hotel with fitness club, golf course, etc.. We didn't use any of these as we were just passing through. Very nice room and surroundings. One thing could be done to improve the experience - clean the upholstery on the chairs in the breakfasting room.”

However with the ‘spa’ being separate and an eye watering £50 for 3 or 4 hours I decided to decline this option (and leave it to the Hen Parties). The rest of the hotel is honestly a bit tired and if you end up in the annexe at the back then good luck with the noise from guests talking loudly, toilet flushing and OH. MY. GOD. The peakocks. “good golf course, tennis court, rooms and buildings with full of historic scent. 30 minutes drive from Manchester airport. meeting rooms are cozy, but internet access with laptop inconvenient (smartphones are ok). breakfast was excellent and bar serves all kinds of nice cocktail.”

Room on small side; not much clothes storage or hanging space (6 hangers). Hangers a bit akward to use being in the middle of a fold out freestanding mirror. Overall nice vibe & very pleased.”
