The pool is exceptional and a great indulgence in the summer heat. The pool bar staff were so friendly and welcoming, I'm already missing my afternoon drink. It's just a great hotel, with a superb breakfast. Whilst out of town the number 89 bus takes you into central Bologna within thirty minutes. There is also a large supermarket and shopping mall next door. I look forward to returning

This hotel was great. It was clean, breakfast was good and it had a nice pool. There is a mall within walking distance(5min) and it is close to the motorway and 20min from downtown. One annoying thing though was that guests are charged 30 euro to use the sunbeds at the pool and 3 euro for each pool towel used. Seemed odd to me that this was not included. We just used the towels from our room and left our things on the ground.

I arrived a couple hours before checkin but was able to use facilities such as the pool. Pros: staff, large reception with seating and water. Good selection at breakfast inc gluten free (bread, muesli, muffin) soya milk. The pool is fab, huge but deep (small shallow end) they have noodles and floats for all to use. Pool bar reasonably priced. The wooden seating areas with cushions and umbrellas and sofas are all free to sit on but can go quickly. Water dispenser right outside our room level 2. Rooms large, large bathroom great shower and sink area with good lighting (mirror does not steam up when in the shower) no issues with air con. Cons: extra charges, sun beds 25euro for 2 beds a day! Luckily other seating areas free. Weekend breakfast is chaos, you walk in and just sit wherever but no plates, cups or cutlery left. When staff bought food out it was swarmed and gone in seconds. The weekends were more relaxed and plenty for all. The hotel has been updated but the rooms not, they were clean but one towel was dirty. Beds comfy and rooms quiet, didn't hear anyone else. The main issue which was a struggle, no plug sockets in the room AT ALL! Rooms had good plug in hair dryers but nowhere to charge phones. I had to leave our phones everyday for a few hours with reception. Massive shops round corner very handy for snacks. Bus 89 outside takes you to centre.

Really liked the hotel - clean, great breakfast buffet (with gluten free options!) Beautiful, giant pool. My only complaint is that guests need to pay for the use of chairs/loungers, umbrellas and towels. (And it was more than we paid at a beach club on the Amalfi Coast!)

Probably the best swimming pool and breakfast in Bologna. Whilst out of town the 89 bus from outside the hotel gets you to the city centre in 30 minutes. The only area of improvement is training for the bar staff, as sadly it took 25 minutes to get served a single glass of wine at the bar

Great value and pool

Great location an amazing olympic size swimming pool and free parking. Breakfast was included and had great selections. Nice size shopping mall and mercado 5 minute walk from the hotel. Unfortunately taxi rides are very expensive to go to Old Town which is about 5 km away. There is a bus that takes you there but not on weekends or holidays.

Excellent hotel for bologna

This seemed like a business hotel but is a great hotel, situated on the outskirts of bologna. If you have a car it is excellent location for driving to Bologna, Florence, Pisa, Verona and Venice as this is close to the motorway. Good breakfast and plenty of free parking on site. The room was excellent as we had a new room with 2 double beds. It has a nice indoor mall with a supermarket just behind the hotel within 5 minutes walk. Also has Macdonalds and Burger King in the mall along with other eateries. Only downside was the weather and time of year meant we couldn't apprecaite the pool area
