This place is so special! The family that owns and runs this hotel is what makes your stay amazing. The hospitality was beyond our expectations and we ate some of the best meals we have had in Italy here. The surrounding scenery is gorgeous. The peace and nature you get here is unmatched. Expedia made the check in a bit stressful as they said there was no front desk at this hotel (which is true) and you had to be there by 6:00pm to receive your keys. Or you had to contact the property beforehand to make other arrangements. Our rental car took way longer to get upon arrival, making us feel very rushed to get to the property in time. The family that owns the hotel lives there full time and are interacting with the guests, serving meals and drinks up until about 10pm each night. You do need a rental car to get to this hotel. Our only complaint is the road up to it. Itโs a one lane steep climb with blind spots and turns. Go slowly and be cautious around the corners. Oncoming vehicles will find ways for you to get around them as there are some pull out areas. Other than that, this place is a gem! A great location for our Dolomite excursions. 10/10 for us and we will definitely be back!
