โWe loved staying at the Minerva Guesthouse. The hosts are lovely and thoughtful. as are the staff. It's really what makes this place special. The location is excellent, right near the beach for an early morning or evening walk when the tide is out. Our room for three was tight but with everything we needed: an excellent shower, comfortable, clean bed, and closet space. Go for the location, but stay for the hosts. โ
โThe actual property location on Expedia is incorrect, only when receiving the Sykes confirmation was the correct location stated. I messaged the property owner via Expedia to request a cancellation but received no reply. The chalet is fairly dated but clean. WiFi has to be paid for at ยฃ10 a week which seems a bargain until you realise itโs unusable most of the time. โGreat pub hotel in a the lovely town of Wadebridge.
The accommodation was a great price in nicely finished rooms with a pub downstairs, walks, bike rides and shopping on your doorstep.
There's not much parking with the pub. You have to be lucky to get one but there's plenty available in town very close to the pub.โ
โOur stay started well with a friendly welcome and the warmth continued throughout our stay, felt sad to leave.
The room was clean and comfortable, with plenty of storage space. Breakfast was excellent, plenty of choice and all delicious.
A great bonus of Tregella is that itโs close to the beach (any closer and it would be on the beach) and close to the town centre but on a quiet road.โ

โBeautiful hotel, parking is available but limited with very tight spaces and on a hill so be aware if you have a larger vehicle. Spa was lovely, staff were amazing, room was spacious. We didn't pay for a sea view, so our view was out onto a very run down and filthy roof top which made it feel more like being in the middle of a deprived city area rather than beautiful seaside resort. It didn't affect our stay, but worth knowing if you're planning a romantic getaway. โ
โParking was very convenient, and a common area is provided for storing and serving food (refrigerator, microwave, sink). Most of all, the room was spotless, the staff were fantastic and the breakfast excellent.โ
