We stayed here for two nights and had a wonderful experience. The place was very nice and comfortable, and Alain was extremely friendly and helpful. He arranged everything for us — from excursions to transfers — and made our stay smooth and enjoyable. We truly appreciated his hospitality and would absolutely recommend this accommodation to anyone visiting Bora Bora.

Owners are lovely people. We liked having our own kitchen. This is not a luxury accommodation, but the location was wonderful. No complaints. We went on a full day snorkeling tour that they recommended and it was just the best!!

Very helpful, very kind. Alain show us how to see manta rays near by the lodge. Alain give us many many good informations about the island..all the family is very nice . When we leaved , he gave us a nice shell necklace. A very good adresse to stay in Bora Bora.

This place has some positive reviews, which tricked me into booking it for my two night stay. The photos do not reflect the reality, there is basically no view, unless you go upstairs to their neglected terrace, it is located right of the road, property needs basic updates, at least change the toilet seat, and bathroom accessories, everything is in beat up shape, pillow case had stains, air conditioning is in one room only, worn out furniture from 70’s, dirt, cobweb, ants everywhere. Stay away please.

Enjoyed my stay at Bora Vaite Lodge! Alain and his wife were very welcoming. The room was clean and the bed large and comfortable. I thought the stained bed sheet was probably ready to be thrown away though. There was plenty of room in the communal areas and the kitchen was well stocked. Breakfast is included which was a nice touch! Was only in Bora two nights and didn’t have transport but Alain is able to offer lifts to town for a small fee which was very helpful as the ‘pinpoint’ on Hotels.com and Expedia is incorrect - it is not in Vaitape.

The pictures do not reflect the propriety. We were really surprised once arrived. Next to the main street so really noisy. Fare from the city. You also need to pay for the AC... Alain is really friendly nice and helpful.

I stayed 6 night with Alain and Vaite. They are super friendly, cheerful and relaxed people who are amazing hosts and they go above and beyond to make the guests happy. I felt welcomed and well looked after. Alain is happy to help with transportation and he could drive me to the town and back at any time with a smile on his face. The breakfast was surprisingly good and generous, the variety of fruit options was amazing. The property is spacious with a terrace with an amazing view to the ocean and it was the favourite breakfast spot for everyone. Evenings we had nice chats and often Alain and Vaite also joined the discussion and shared tips, ideas or just said some kind words. Amazing experience, I will definitely be back.

Alain spricht Deutsch und hat mich jeden Tag an den schönen öffentlichen Strand der Insel gefahren und abgeholt- ich habe hier nichts missen müssen , alles sehr nett eingerichtet, Küche mit Kühl und Gefrierschrank- Terrasse mit Meerblick - nur der Strand gegenüber/ bei der Unterkunft ist nicht zum Baden geeignet und sehr ungepflegt
