Clean rooms, friendly staff

The views from our room were excellent. You could see the iconic Hollywood sign and the Griffith park observatory. The gym had more than enough equipment to get a good workout. Finally the pool area was a very pleasant surprise with it’s outdoor garden vibe.

Super friendly staff. Generally clean rooms, with the exception of filthy windows which were broken and wouldn’t even open. Excellent location near the park. So grateful they offer the full kitchen. Timing of housekeeping was very poor. During our four night visit they wanted to clean our room on day 3, the day before we check out. What’s the point in that?!? Overall, we are always generally satisfied with our stay at the clementine hotel.

As soon as we came out of the elevator it stunk like cigarette smoke on the entire floor and in our bedroom. The smell was so strong in the carpets and curtains, it was pretty gross. The shuttle to Universal was really convenient, and the food in the courtyard was good. The movies playing at the pool was a really fun idea although it was too cold at night.
